DESCRIPTION:As part of the 3rd Arts & Crafts – New Design Biennial 2026\, Grupo O Valor do Tempo presents the talk “It’s Expensive\, But…”\, a conversation that begins with an apparently simple question: how much is a handmade piece really worth? \nLooking beyond price to consider time\, materials and craftsmanship\, the conversation invites us to reflect on the true value of Arts & Crafts and on what we do not always see when we look only at the price of a piece. \nHow can we ensure fair pay for those who master skills that take years to learn? How can we preserve a tradition without keeping it stuck in the past?
