Flower Parade and Felgueiras Embroidery Workshop

A programme dedicated to celebrating and promoting Portugal’s intangible cultural heritage, marking the European Heritage Days through a dialogue between tradition, art and craftsmanship. The initiative includes an ethnographic parade inspired by the traditional Cortejo das Flores (Flower Parade) of Felgueiras, proceeding along Rua das Flores in Porto and culminating at the House of Craft with a Terra de Sousa and Lixa Embroidery workshop. Through this celebration, the event aims to bring the public closer to the cultural expressions and artisanal techniques that form an integral part of the region’s identity and collective memory.
