From 17 August to 22 November 2026, every day and throughout the day, the Beer Museum puts Portuguese craft beer centre stage. For three months, Terreiro do Paço becomes a meeting point between the history of beer and a new generation of Portuguese producers.
The Craft Beer Fest sets out to discover the people who are reinventing a drink with thousands of years of history. It explores the origins of Portuguese producers, their stories and the places where their beers are born, revealing the identity, ingredients and concepts that give each beer its distinctive character. Throughout the festival, there will be tastings and opportunities to meet the producers themselves — a chance to taste, chat and discover the story behind every glass.
The experience can begin even earlier with a guided tour of the Beer Museum, tracing the history of this drink from its earliest known origins to Portugal’s brewing tradition, and ending with a tasting of Portuguese craft beers.
