Held quarterly, this initiative gives a platform to a new generation of creators who challenge the boundaries between tradition and contemporaneity, positioning Portuguese traditional arts and crafts as a space for experimentation, innovation and artistic expression. Each edition transforms the Certified Arts Gallery into a showcase for emerging talent, featuring a signature piece by a guest artist and highlighting new perspectives on cultural heritage and its potential to inspire the future.
The inaugural edition presents Francisca Nabinho, one of the leading names of Portugal’s new generation of fashion designers. Recognised for her work at ModaLisboa, where she attracted attention by incorporating Portuguese filigree into a contemporary design language, the designer has developed a distinctive creative vision that dissolves the boundaries between fashion, jewellery and cultural heritage. Her work demonstrates that tradition is not a static legacy, but a living practice in constant transformation, capable of engaging with the present while projecting itself into the future.
