Presentation of the Música d’Ponte Festival

Part of the Música d’Ponte Festival programme, this initiative presents the Festival’s official programme and highlights its importance to the city of Braga and to the promotion of traditional Portuguese music.

The Viola Braguesa takes centre stage throughout the session, with live musical performances and a presentation exploring the different stages of its construction, from the craftsmanship involved to the certification process.

Bringing together music, heritage and craftsmanship, the event invites the public to discover more about the Música d’Ponte Festival and one of the most emblematic instruments of Braga’s musical tradition.
