Founded in 1919, Silva & Feijóo was born from the hands of two merchants passionate about Portuguese rope-making, with a shop originally located on Rua dos Bacalhoeiros, in the heart of Lisbon’s Pombaline Downtown. Over a century later, it still retains the charm of historic shops, now relocated to Rua de São Nicolau.
Specialised, yes, but without losing their original character: old wood, period décor, and that feeling that time slows down there. Meanwhile, the store on Rua de S. Nicolau is a true Portuguese feast: preserves, wines, olive oils, sweets, wooden toys, soap, perfumes, and other memories scented with childhood and tasting of authenticity. Everything that represents Portugal in a beautiful, genuine, soulful way.
