WorldSkills Portugal marks the departure of the National Skills Team for WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, the World Skills Championship, with a session dedicated to talent, skills and the excellence of Portuguese know-how.
Held every two years, WorldSkills is the leading international skills competition, bringing together young talents from around the world. Portugal will be represented by ten competitors across seven skills — Hairdressing, Industrial Control, CNC Machining, Industrial Mechatronics, Industrial Robotics, Mobile Robotics and Welding.
The session will offer an opportunity to meet the young people who will represent the country, discover the professions in competition and learn about the journey that has taken them to the world stage. It will also include institutional contributions and the participation of Fátima Lopes, Corporate Director at Grupo O Valor do Tempo and WorldSkills Portugal Ambassador.
A symbolic moment of recognition and well wishes for success, where tradition and the future come together to celebrate a new generation of professionals who will take Portuguese talent and know-how all the way to Shanghai.
