“We wish you a Merry Dinner” Christmas group dinners are back at the Beer Museum
This Christmas, the Beer Museum invites groups of friends to celebrate around the table at Terreiro do Paço. “We Wish You a Merry Dinner” is the theme that turns the traditional Christmas lunch (or dinner!) into a moment full of soul, great food, and Portuguese craft beer.
No need to be a brewmaster to enjoy history – just a beer lover. At the Beer Museum, every dinner is a journey through the flavours and stories that make this drink a universal celebration. Between the sparkle of Lisbon’s Christmas lights and the aromas of Portuguese gastronomy, the space offers a complete experience for groups that blends tradition, sharing, and discovery. In addition to dinner, groups can also visit the museum — a journey through the history of beer, from its origins to today’s craft creations — finishing with a tasting of Portuguese beers. More than just a group dinner, it’s a toast to friendship and the celebration of another year.
The menu brings the comforting warmth of Portuguese flavours: an amuse-bouche of velvety poultry soup or pumpkin cream to start, followed by a main course where the hardest part is choosing among four tempting dishes — the traditional shredded cod with cornbread and turnip greens, the bold turkey leg stuffed with alheira and apple, the rich oven-braised pork cheek with mashed potatoes and asparagus, or the indulgent fish and shrimp moqueca. Desserts are served buffet-style, featuring classics like crème brûlée, sweet vermicelli, and bread pudding. And to accompany? Bohemia beers — pale and dark, of course! — as well as wine, soft drinks, and coffee.
Whether for lunch, dinner, or a tailor-made event, the Beer Museum welcomes groups with the same care it pours a perfect beer: with warmth, authenticity, and that flavour that lingers in memory. All of it in a unique setting to toast to Christmas — at the table, among friends, overlooking the Tagus.
